Monochromatic line art portrait in graphite and charcoal pencil of a beautiful woman with large, round Afro
ARTIST’S NOTE:
In drawing this portrait, I had fun playing around with relationships between straight lines and round shapes, as well as dark and light values. The result was this majestic woman who has a steely, almost cyborg-like quality. The squared-off edges of her jawline and facial planes contrast with the curves of her supple lips and enormous, perfectly round Afro hairstyle. Also, there is something seductive yet resolute in her gaze.
Each print includes a 1-inch border around all sides of the artwork for easy framing.
